Transfer Money:
 

Transferring Money to Nepal is as easy as following these steps:

For Instant Transfer:

Step 1
Approach our Office

Step 2
Fill in the Money Transfer Form

Step 3
Submit the transfer amount along with the relevant fee.

Step 4
Recieve the IME Control Number and share it with the nominated recipient. *

The Transfer Amount will be converted into Nepalese Rupees at Our rate of exchange in effect at the time the Money Transfer Form is completed and authorised by Us. The Transfer Amount cannot exceed the Maximum Amount, as determined by Us from time to time. Currently you can send a maximum of $999.99

Over the Telephone:

Step 1
Contact our Office at (02) 9420 5771 and give us your details.

Step 2
Transfer the transfer amount into our Bank Account by visiting a branch or using the netbank service provided by your Bank.

Step 3
Recieve the IME Control Number and Share it with the nominated recipient. *

The Transfer Amount will be converted into Nepalese Rupees at Our rate of exchange in effect at the time the Money Transfer Form is completed and authorised by Us. The Transfer Amount cannot exceed the Maximum Amount, as determined by Us from time to time. Currently you can send a maximum of $999.99

Recieving Money:

Step 1
Approach one of the designated IME offices in Nepal with a valid Photo ID (eg. citizenship card, Passport)

Step 2
Fill up the relevant form at the counter.

Step 3
Submit the form along with the IME Control Number * recieved from the sender.

Step 4
Recieve Cash instantly.

The Transfer Amount will be converted into Nepalese Rupees at Our rate of exchange in effect at the time the Money Transfer Form is completed and authorised by Us.
* Security of your IME Control Number: It is Your responsibility to protect the confidentiality of the Money Transfer details including the PIN. We are entitled to transfer the Transfer Amount in favour of any person who satisfies the requirements set out in clause 4.2 of our Terms and Conditions.
